Degree in Forestry from Auburn University and credentials as a Registered Forester in Georgia, Alabama, and North Carolina, David’s qualifications are both comprehensive and distinguished. His professional skill set is further enhanced by a Georgia Real Estate License and certifications in prescribed burning and pesticide application.
David’s career began with a focus on forestry consulting at James M. Vardaman & Co., where he developed a solid foundation in the field. He further refined his expertise as a timber buyer with Steed Timber Co. and Bristol Timber Co., gaining extensive experience in timber harvest design and implementation, particularly in the Piedmont and Mountain regions.
David’s professional portfolio is broad, encompassing Best Management Practices (BMP) compliance, forest inventory and valuation, reforestation, land management, and historical research and preservation. His diverse background and dedication to forestry excellence make him an invaluable asset to Branch Farm & Timberland and a trusted advisor in timberland management.
